Buttercup Prints was started by two new moms, Jana & Yvette, who were also very good friends, having worked together in a local design studio for several years. Because they had their little ones at about the same time, they shared common experiences and became even closer friends.

One thing they both wanted to do, was share with family and friends the joy and excitement of the arrival of their beautiful babies.

Since they were already graphic designers, they figured, "Why waste an afternoon of quality family time shopping for an announcement card at the mall, when we could just as easily design an awesome custom cards of our own?"

Their friends and families loved the cards. Soon after they were swamped with requests from people wanting to send their own messages of love and joy. It wasn't long before they were celebrating another exciting arrival: the birth of Buttercup Prints.com
